The mission of Global Network for Equality – GNE also is to reduce the ‘Re-offending’ rate in India. In order to achieve this mission, we have assigned professionally qualified Medical and Psychiatric Social Workers to pay attentions on psycho-social needs of all inmates at their designated prison.

These dedicated social workers will interact with inmates in one to one interview and examine their behavioral patterns, IQ etc., and to provide psychological counseling, execute play therapies with various other intervention techniques. They will also analyze their familial needs, connect to their family members by home visit and phone calls. Through these activities we will able to maintain the family bondage between inmates and their family members. These activities will be executed in every central prison in all the states and union territories of India.

There are too many untold stories of every inmate, unique behaviors, and talents. Everything relevant to them will be shared under this PX (Prison eXperience) NEWS
